Dear Parents,
Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year at Bobier Elementary School. We are very happy to partner with you and we are excited to welcome your child(ren) to our school. Bobier is an amazing school that provides a positive, safe, student-centered learning environment for all students to learn, grow, and reach their full potential. We encourage critical and creative thinking and real-world problem solving as we prepare our students with the skills needed for their future. Our focus is the whole-child and we foster not only intellectual but also social-emotional development. Our students are our first priority and we always put their needs first.
I have had the opportunity and privilege to serve as an educator in the roles of teacher, instructional coach, and administrator, for more than twenty four years in a variety of settings and grade levels from Kindergarten through high school. I have taught in both suburban and urban settings, public and charter, magnet and Title 1, and, over the last several years, I have worked as the assistant principal at Vista Academy of Visual and Performing Arts and Empresa Elementary. I am very honored and excited to be a member of the Bobier Bronco family!
We would like to partner with you and we would like for you to be involved in your child’s education. Parent participation is a key component to helping students succeed in school. Please consider joining our PTA, School Site Council, ELAC, or volunteering some of your time on campus. I ask for your support by sending your child to school every day, encouraging him/her to read each night, and by asking your child to share what they learned at school each day. I am honored to serve the school community as your principal and I look forward to partnering with you to keep our students at the center of all we do and to work together as we continue our pursuit of excellence and innovation.
